Land Rover Defender
The Land Rover Defender comes with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that generates 296 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. There are also other engine options, including a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that produces 518 horsepower and 461 lb-ft of torque. All engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive is standard.
The off-road ability of the Land Rover Defender is outstanding. Standard features include a terrain response system, locking differentials, and a two-speed transfer case. This SUV offers 11.5 inches of ground clearance, and it can ford through 35.4 inches of water.
The Land Rover Defender comes standard with a two-row setup that fits up to five people, but a three-row model is available, and this one increases the passenger capacity by two. Standard tech features include HD and satellite radio, smartphone connectivity, and wireless device charging. You’ll also get automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane departure warning, among other safety features.
Range Rover Velar
With the Range Rover Velar, you’ll get a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that offers 247 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Top-of-the-line is a turbocharged 3.0-liter, six-cylinder with 395 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard, as is four-wheel drive.
There is plenty of room for up to five people in the Range Rover Velar, and the seats are very comfortable. Heated front seats and leather upholstery are standard. Every model comes with a variety of tech features, including two 10-inch touchscreens, remote start, and smartphone connectivity. There are also several built-in safety components, such as driver drowsiness detection, rear cross-traffic alert, and forward collision warning.
